Salsa, Sabor y Salud

Join us for Salsa, Sabor y Salud, a healthy lifestyle program for Latino families. The eight-week
program, developed by the National Latino Children’s Institute, focuses on how small changes
at home can lead to greater health and well-being for the whole family

Acompáñenos y participe en Salsa, Sabor y Salud, un programa para familias latinas que promueve estilos de vida saludables, elaborado por el Instituto Nacional en pro de la Juventud Latina y que en sólo ocho semanas le demostrará cómo mejorar la salud y el bienestar de su familia haciendo pequeños cambios en su vida cotidiana.

ECO J YMCA 5K - Sunday, September 16

ECO-JUSTICE CENTER partners with the RACINE FAMILY YMCA and to orchestrate it's inaugural 5K run/walk during the ECO-JUSTICE Fall Festival.

Eco-Justice Center's annual Fall Festival will now include a 5K run/walk scheduled for Sunday, September 16, 2018.

This fun run/walk is open to everyone. Every participant will receive a finisher’s medal, an event t-shirt, water bottle, cinch pack filled with goodies, snacks, beverages, and entry to the festival. The Festival includes live music, delicious food, demonstrations, a petting zoo, raffle, gift shop, bake sale, veggie stand, children s' games, hayrides, story time in the tree house, hermitage tours, face painting and more! Non-participants will be subject to an entry fee: Adults $5, Children $2, Children 3 and under are free.

The course will utilize Cliffside Park in Caledonia. Event Coordinator Patrick Flynn says, “We're excited to expose this trail to the running community. It offers phenomenal views, wooded trails and views of Lake Michigan. This combination of partners will provide a great value to our participants”.

This is a fun run/walk; however, for those interested in timing, the course will be chip timed with LIVE results and tracking.  To register, visit .
