School Aged Child Care
The YMCA believes that a quality program should provide enriching experiences, which facilitate a child’s cognitive, social, physical and emotional growth. We strive to meet the developmental needs and temperament of each individual child by working in partnership with families. YMCA School Age Child Care program, licensed by the State of Wisconsin, provides a curriculum focused on education, leadership and character development.
Y's Kids is for students Kindergarten through 6th grade. Working with schools and parents, Y's Kids compliments and enhances formal education and provides learning opportunities that build relationships, develop character and inspire discovery. Programs are licensed. Care may be provided before school, after-school or both.
YMCA School Out – Mini Camp
The YMCA provides a safe, fun place to be when your child has a day off from school. Children ages Kindergarten – 12 years will participate in organized activities including gym time, swimming, games, arts-n-crafts, character development activities, and occasional fieldtrips. Feel safe knowing that your children are enjoying their “day out” in a fun, supervised environment.
YMCA Child Care provides quality care that is safe, convenient and active. Licensed by the State of Wisconsin, each program features structured, age-appropriate activities. Staff offers children a variety of imaginative experiences that nurture their spirits, challenge their minds and strengthen their bodies. Our sites provide care on most holidays, early dismissal days, professional development days and "no school" days, in addition to the regular school schedule.
